The Schoolhouse, built in 1910Our office is located in the 1910 San Marcos Schoolhouse. This one room schoolhouse was active through the 1950's. After that time, the building was abandoned, until it was rebuilt by a private preservationist, William Carroll, in the 1970's. Mr. Carroll reopened the schoolhouse as the home of the "San Marcos Outlook", a local newspaper.
